1. We now have SELLER ACCOUNTS. To become a seller on Horsengoggle.com, you need to pay for a subscription. (Available on MY ACCOUNT menu.) Your low-cost subscription ($10 for an entire year) includes: Free Listings and Free Storefront!
Requiring an initial payment helps to validate
Sellers who wish to sell on Horsengoggle.com.
So this is also a security feature.
3. FINAL VALUE FEES are calculated if your item sells. Your account allows up to $50 in final value fees, and up to 30 days for payment (whichever ceiling is first.) Minimum payment is $3.00 because PayPal charges us 40 cents per transaction, whether you pay $5 or 25 cents (to pay 40 cents fee on a 25 cent transaction is poor business.) You may also prepay on your account if you wish. Prepaid fees are not refundable.
4. ALL Listings are BUY-NOW fixed price listings. Market analysts say that auctions are losing their popularity with buyers. Buyers would rather purchase their items on the spot, than wait for auctions to end. Fixed price is more beneficial for sellers and much easier for buyers.
5. Sellers: you may use the PayPal Checkout icon on all your listings, if you want it. Be sure to check mark the little box on the listing page, so the PayPal icon will appear on the listing. Put the shipping cost in the listing (there's a form entry for shipping cost.) When your listing closes, a PayPal link will be automatically emailed to the buyer. Very convenient!
